Praise from Greg Fields

Ron DeChristoforo’s brilliant novel takes us to places we tend to ignore but which our shared humanity demands us to see. He shares with us the lives of boys abandoned and lost, then grows them into young men whose characters are forged by heartbreak, cynicism, and, ultimately, bonds that could never be broken. There’s heroism in DeChristoforo’s words, along with intensity, focus, precision, and  lyricism. This Way Out is a powerful read, one that resonates and lingers, crafted by a significant literary voice.
