This volume of The Writers’ Journal, Vol. 2, DOORS is filled with exceptional pieces triggered by the memories and the imaginations of our poets and authors. You will find writers who confront doors as barriers, while others open doors, delving into candid experiences. Some share tales of new opportunities, and others cross thresholds into new worlds. We are proud to share a diverse collection of extraordinary pieces by 122 writers from over 16 countries. Each piece offers something to savor, to take away, and to share.

Anthony DiFebbo is the genius of our outfit, as composer, musician, arranger, lead vocalist.

Anthony and Ron DeChristoforo have written dozens of songs together. Anthony does all-things-musical and Ron writes lyrics.

We’ve been together from our days singing acappella on the corner where we grew up in South Philadelphia at Lambert & Jackson Streets.

One of our songs, The Things We Carried, won the “Artists for Literacy” songwriting competition.
